So...
I always said that I needed more excitement in my life and now I've got it.
It just hit me out of the blue. *iz shot*

To keep things simple, I had an unfortunate run in with a moving car and ended up getting my ankle wrenched/twisted seriously and had to put my leg in a cast. Before anyone worries, only my foot suffered and otherwise I am just seriously aching all over the place and bruised a little here and there.

Guess I got lucky because, I swear, the moment that car wheel hit my ankle and twisted it forcefully I had this horrible thought that I was gonna die due to horrendous pain. Thankfully the driver hadn't been going fast and I hadn't had the time to cross the street completely so I was only slightly picked up as opposed to getting fully hit.

It was equally my fault (because I was distracted by a fast coming car coming from the opposite direction), the driver's for not seeing me coming and that darn, 4x4 car's parked right next to the zebra crossing that blocked both our views of each other. After the poor woman freaked out and a passing couple helped me pick myself off the ground and into the driver's car, we both decided not to involve the police and made up an 'I tripped on a sewer cover' story and decided to leave it at just that. She took me to the hospital and paid everything that needed payment, gave me plenty of money for taxi fair if ever needed and today came by my place to check up on me and bring me some groceries.

My father and aunt said that I should've called the police and had her license removed for hitting me on the zebra but I'm not some darn avenger. My foot will not get fixed if I call the police and even if it would, accidents happen sometimes. It's not like she wanted to hit me and it's not like she isn't doing her best to help me with anything I could possibly want so...may we'll even stay friends after I get my cast taken off?

...in about 31 days? ._______.

(I can not say how annoying the thought of spending 31 days in a cast really is. The vacation is...uh, not bad but not being able to walk anywhere is just so darn frustrating)

Which kind of brings me to the subject of today's post.

I was going to the bank yesterday to deposit a small sum in my account because my photobucket account will expire in two-three days but obviously I never got there.

Does anyone have 3$ to spare for a week or so until I can get to the bank? I promise I'll give it back as soon I do get, but right now I can't really move (and even all this hobbling around the house is exhausting me) and I'd really like my gifs to remain active.

Well, if you have a Paypal account, I'd be happy to 'donate' to the cause! Let me know, 'k?

I'm so glad that you weren't more seriously injured!! Hope everything turns out okay!

My address is royalbk@yahoo.com. <3<3<3<3<3<3 THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We're all just as glad here because it's only a leg and nothing else. I'm sure it will fix nicely in a month or so. ^^

Getting hit by a car is a really interesting experience, fear aside. It's like nothing I ever encountered.

...good for fic material. *shot again* xDDD

On its way, sweetheart. Let me know when it gets there, 'k? Hope it helps!!

I've been in car accidents with other cars, but never as a pedestrian. I can't imagine how scary that must have been. And, just so you know, the word "interesting," to me, has several connotations. One of them is most definitely "something I don't want to do again!"

Hun, I just checked my email now and...whoa. It totally helps and I'm amazed but hun I will return 21$ right now because I can't possibly take that much! ILUILUILU. I don't want to scam you.

3-4$ are so more than enough and I will pay those back asap.

*glomps wildly* Rest of your money coming back in a few minutes to you. <3

Yeah, pedestrian vs 2 ton car is a really interesting experience...and I agree with that connotation. xDDD

Oh dear! That's terrible! But I agree with your view of things in not going to the police, it sounds like she's being responsible by paying for everything and giving you a taxi fare (though won't you need to return to the doctor for checkups or at least to get the cast off at the end?). The groceries are a nice touch too.

That must have been a terrifying experience though, being confronted with the thought that you might die is a very scary thing (it's easy to think about while nice and comfy somewhere but completely different when the threat is much more real).

I hope the cast doesn't prove to be too annoying. It must be autumn getting into winter there? So I guess at least you don't have to put up with it in summer. Still, must be a pain to get around with it on.

I'm happy to help out. But the person above me appears to have responded first. Take lots of card of yourself, there's only one of you and we can't replace you.

*hugs* She is responsible and she calls on an almost daily basis to check up on me. She gave me plenty of taxi fares actually - more than a 100$ actually and bought me medicine and we're on for this upcoming Wednesday when she'll drive me to the doctor's again for a check up and then she wants to take me to a nearby park so I can enjoy some air. Her suggestion. (on Saturday apparently she wants us to go to a movie to reward ourselves for going through this mess so...she's effing adorable)

It kinda of was freaking scary because I never got to see it coming. It just hit me out of nowhere and I heard my leg crack in a distinctly not normal way and that was the freakiest part.

Yep it's actually autumn-winter around here so it's...okay. I'll catch my birthday in this cast unfortunately but at least I can catch my birthday at all. xDD

Awww - you are a sweetie! Everyone seems to worried online and in RL. THANK YOU! *hugs again*

Oh, geez. That sucks! ;__________;

Seems the first poster already responded, otherwise I'd also be more than happy to help you out!

Welp. I'm alive at least so I can feel it suck, though it's not really that awful now that my leg doesn't hurt anymore. ^^

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE OFFER! I'm lucky to have such caring friends. <3
