Hey, RBK. This is completely unrelated to your post, but I've wanted to ask this question lately, so I'll ask it here.

Why are you not a traditional Inuyasha/Kagome girl? Not to say that I am. I'm rarely a traditional canon person (save for Clemi, or for Ranma, because I do like Akane/Ranma) I don't know much about Inuyasha, nor do I care to. The show doesn't interest me. However, I do like Sesshomaru, he's nice to look at ;)

Feel free to go off on a long tirade. I was just curious.

Oh, that's an easy one!

1. Inuyasha belongs with Kikyou best in my opinion. Actually, him and Kikyou are somewhat symmetrical with Sesshoumaru and Kagome. Only the personalities are reversed in these couples...xDD

2. Inuyasha's supposed romantic feelings for Kagome just don't cut it for me. I'm not a fan of 'I love you but I'll just run off with my former lover now kthxbye and later come back and expect you to be still here' or the 'you bitch, you wench, you weak little girl. Kikyou was better than you in anything' approach in a couple. Maybe it's just me...maybe I'm nuts for being so annoyed by this.

Inuyasha with Kagome = annoying. Inuyasha with Kikyou = very likable; in behaviour terms. He insults Kagome at the first chance - like a second grader with a stupid crush - but when he's with Kikyou the more mature and manly (instead of just boyish) side of him comes out. Kikyou brings out the best in him in her own way.

Actually, while I've seen the 'Kagome made me trust others' bit everywhere, I think that Kikyou was the first one to cement that trust. Before her, Inuyasha didn't approach anyone human or otherwise. The faked betrayal and stupid, thirteen year old fangirls make it seem as if only Kagome can be with him and Kikyou is a frigid whore. Pardon the french.

*grin*

There's your tirade. If you want me to expand on anything else, just let me know. xDDD

Hmm. I must admit, I have very little knowledge of the show. I guess I wouldn't mind picking it up, but it's just so *long*. I seriously have the attention span of a two-year-old.

Anyway, is there any nice interaction between Sessh and Kagome in the actual show? I might be more inclined to watch if there were...

...by the way, I started watching the most bizarre anime today. It's called Air. I watched and was like... what the hell. Its strong suit, however, is its music. The opening theme is wonderful.

Aaaaand, that's all I really have to say. I've been drowning myself in girly anime today, particularly Tokyo Mew Mew and Pretear. Sigh.

Your french doesn't need to be excused. It's your own damn journal, swear all you want.

I wouldn't hold my breath. They're nowhere near canon...I can count on my fingers (of one hand) the times they actually...you know...interact.

xDD

Tokyo Mew Mew and Pretear - the first is way girly (and if anything I'm a KishuXIchigo fan not a IchigoXwhatshisname fan) but the second was always to my liking. Short and awesome. xDD
